stan,
stan - the bandleader man
Martin
Cramsie, aka [Stan] the Hat,
has
been with the band for what
seems
to be a lifetime. An educationalist
by
profession, a drinker and a thinker
by
design.
He
plays a mean sop sax as well as band leading and arrangement of music.
Influences include; Bleeding gums McEnzie (Simpsons),
and
Zoot Horn from the Muppets.
Always
in good tune with an aim to Bb tastic.
Would
have liked to have been a member of the
Anthill
mob but being in Blowjangles is the next best thing.
A
thousand sharps and flats blown so far without a case of the chromatic
stutters.
Since
these notes were first penned, Stan has taken on the mantle of full time
bandleader following the departure of the previous emcumbant.
The
immediate effect on the band is the noticeable 'tightness' in it's playing
- we actually start and stop at the same time now. |
